As a wife, mom and entrepreneur, I have many loves in my life and feel very blessed that I have accomplished so much with the time I have been given. My first loves are my wonderful and supportive husband, my almost 3 -year-old boy and 4-month-old baby girl. My second loves are my businesses, Made for Memories Photo Jewelry and Once Upon a Time Jewlz. Both businesses are centered around my love for photography.

I started out in the industry as a photographer. I loved capturing moments for people that they could one day look back on and remember it like it was yesterday. I then came up with the idea to give my clients a different way to display their images. I am a huge fan of canvases and wall prints but I wanted to make an even bigger statement with my images. Made for Memories Photo Jewelry was then born.

Memories can come and go, but photos last a lifetime: That is the inspiration and meaning behind Made for Memories Photo Jewelry. I love the idea that you can show off your images simply by just wearing a piece of jewelry. And being able to wear an image of someone that is near and dear to your heart makes it all the more special.

As my photo jewelry business grew so did more ideas and business ventures. As a former photographer I was also a prop-aholic as some would say. It was very hard for me to pass up a cute basket for a newborn or that unique looking chair that would just make the photo AWESOME!! And Accessories … Oh my … I was the queen of headbands and hats. From this, Once Upon A Time Jewlz was born. Fun and colorful necklaces for little girls that could be used as props or just dressing up that special outfit.

I am so excited to be able to offer all these amazing products. It is very humbling to know that even though I’m not a professional photographer anymore, I am still very much a part of the photography community. I'm excited to see what the future holds in the photography industry, and even more excited to network with the many talented photographers and vendors throughout our state.
